Scott McQuigg is the CEO and cofounder of GoNoodle, the fast-growing interactive company that has 5 million kids around the world moving in classrooms and at home. Launched in August 2013 with the goal of inspiring students and teachers to be more active at school, GoNoodle is already on pace to deliver over 1 billion minutes of physical activity this school year. GoNoodle’s interactive videos and games known as “brain breaks” get kids running, jumping, dancing, stretching and even deep-breathing throughout the day.
Scott is an entrepreneur having founded several venture-backed businesses in health information and health education. Previously, Scott spent 10 years in business media. The most rewarding part of his work with GoNoodle today is popping into classrooms to join students for brain breaks; his favorite GoNoodle brain breaks are Dance, Dance, Dance by Zumba Kids and Get Your Body Moving by Koo Koo Kanga Roo. Scott lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and two kids.
