Kim has over 20 years of diverse experience in business development, strategy, marketing, product development, content and strategic partnerships. She’s worked in digital media, entertainment, consumer products, educational technology and health and wellness for a multinational corporation, at mid-size companies, at startups and as an independent consultant.
Kim is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Fingerprint where she is leading a team to drive revenue growth through business development, content strategy and marketing for the company’s mobile technology platform that powers branded networks of play-and-learn content experiences for kids and families.
Kim recently left LeapFrog where she was the head of licensing and business development. Kim led a team at LeapFrog to develop and execute the company’s licensed product strategy, to identify and acquire content and technology for product development and for digital distribution through the LeapFrog App Center, to source, negotiate and manage all strategic partnerships and to drive all business development initiatives and co-marketing opportunities that could build new revenue streams or open new markets.
Kim was previously an agent in the WME Digital Group where she developed digital branding, content strategy and financing, marketing and distribution plans. Kim built strategic partnerships and worked with respected brands, content creators and new media entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining the Digital Group, Kim worked with the president of the agency on business development. She started in the Motion Picture Department after completing internships at Focus Features, Miramax and MPCA.
Before graduate school, Kim was a general manager and brand director at SelfCare.com, a health and beauty startup (sold to Gaiam) and an independent consultant to new media companies.
Kim began her career in the highly competitive Executive Development Program at Merck & Co., Inc. and was a member of the Policy Advisory Committee to the Merck Company Foundation.
Kim has an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA with a focus in Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Entertainment Management and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Media at The Annenberg School of Communication and Marketing at The Wharton School.
