Jordana Drell is Vice President of Preschool Games for Nickelodeon Group. In this role, she manages the development and execution of strategies driving the operation of quality children’s interactive media for Nick Jr. across all platforms, including tablet and mobile devices, desktop, ELA, console and handheld.
Under Drell’s leadership, Nickelodeon’s preschool mobile gaming app business has surpassed more than 9 million downloads across multiple operating platforms and have consistently launched among the top ten of Apple’s app store.
Notably, Drell led the development of Nickelodeon’s hit app PAW Patrol Rescue Run, which skyrocketed to number-one on the kids and educational app lists and number-two overall on the U.S. iTunes App store – the network’s strongest preschool launch to date. She also successfully launched the network’s top literacy app, Wallykazam!: Letter and Word Magic and spearheaded the development of other successful preschool mobile app titles, includingcross-platform hits Dora and Friends, Team Umizoomi Math: Zoom into Numbers; and Bubble Guppies: Animal School Day; as well as Nickelodeon’s bestselling video game titles, Nickelodeon Dance and Nickelodeon Dance 2. In addition, Drell oversaw the production of Dora’s Great Big World, Nickelodeon’s first app focused on a STEM curriculum.
Drell previously served as Senior Director for Nickelodeon Games Group, where she created and executed gaming and educational strategy for mobile, including iOS apps and console/handheld games for Nick Jr.
Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Drell was a producer in the Interactive Group at Sesame Workshop, where she produced numerous flash games and interactive stories for Seasamestreet.com.
Jordana Drell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Entertaining Marketing from New York University.
