Erin Wilkey Oh, Senior Editor of Education Reviews, Common Sense Media

As senior editor of education reviews, Erin manages the ratings and reviews of apps on Common Sense Graphite and oversees the Common Sense Education blog. Erin came to Common Sense from the classroom, where she taught English for non-native speakers at a community college and 11th/12th-grade English at an urban public high school. Her school district’s 1-to-1 laptop program sparked her interest in what teaching and learning could look like in a connected classroom. Erin has bachelor’s degrees in English and secondary education and a master’s degree in instructional design and technology. Erin is a knitter, DIY enthusiast, and occasional food blogger. As a new parent, she’s learning a ton about early childhood development as she supports the endless curiosity of her toddling son.
