Michael Moynihan, Vice President of Marketing, LEGO Systems Inc.

Michael_Moynihan-200x200Michael Moynihan is Vice President of marketing for LEGO Systems, Inc. His 20+ years of consumer marketing experience guides his leadership of the U.S. marketing effort for the world’s second largest toy company. He oversees Brand Management, In-store and Shopper Marketing, Event Marketing, Public Relations, Partnerships & Promotions, Content Marketing, Marketing Planning and Strategic Planning. He also serves on the Americas Leadership Team for The LEGO Group. In addition, he holds global roles on the Global Marketing Leadership Team and chairs the Global Competitive Forum.

Prior to his role as VP, Moynihan has held various positions in the US Marketing arm of The LEGO Group. He has been with the company for 20 years. Prior to LEGO Systems, Inc., Moynihan worked in Marketing at General Mills, managing brands in both the Yoplait yogurt and Big G cereal divisions, including the flagship Cheerios brand. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at Monitor Group, a strategic consultancy.

Moynihan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Bowdoin College and Masters of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
