Jerry R. Welch is a Co-Founder of Bambini Partners, LLC, a Strategic Advisory Firm to companies operating in the kids products industries and to Private Equity Firms. Prior to the formation of Bambini Partners, Mr. Welch obtained years of direct operating experience in kids related businesses, having been the Chairman and CEO of FAO Schwarz, Zany Brainy and The Right Start. Mr. Welch is also very experienced in the capital markets and public companies. He spent a decade as a Partner at Kayne Anderson Investment Management, a large Los Angeles based Private Equity Firm and he has served as CEO of five public companies, taking two of those companies public over his 40-year business career. Mr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration and a major in Finance.
