Hannah Chung is the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Sproutel, creator of Jerry the Bear – an interactive teaching toy for children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Sproutel was one of “Top 5 Startups that Use Tech To Do Good” by Mashable.
She illustrates everything from ideas to business model canvases. She focuses on the character development, and manufacturing, making sure that the product is intuitive to the users.
Hannah also co-founded Design for America when she was a Mechanical Engineering and Design freshman student at Northwestern University. Here, she found her passion–designing for social impact. DFA is an award-winning national initiative whose mission is to create a network of student-led studios that generates local and social impact through interdisciplinary design.
In 2012, Hannah was listed as one of “Top 15 Women to Watch in Tech” by Inc. She is currently located in Providence, RI.
